Sunday School

During the academic year, Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m. and runs to 10:15 a.m.  For grades K-6, the children learn about the stories of the Bible in a variety of ways:  drama, music, video clips, food, games, crafts and story-telling.  Sometimes the children will learn short skits of Bible stories that they then will perform during coffee hour after church.  

God’s Kids (Children’s Chapel) Childen are offered a nursery and Sunday School class during the 10:30am eucharist.

Youth Ministry

Older youth participate in regular worship as acolytes/altar boys and girls, as readers for the passages of Scripture, as leaders of the Psalms, as musicians.  On occasion, at special youth services, some youth even may give a talk about their faith.  The YOUTH MINISTRY takes place in a series of special events.

A special class for teenagers is offered in the Guild Room directly after 10:30am Eucharist. Led by the rector, this discussion changes each week, looking at issues of Christian faith and everyday life. The teenagers may plan a mission trip next year and occasionally do local outreach projects.
