Mexico--Ciudad El Juarez! A team of teenagers and adults traveled to El Juarez this March to work on the edge of the Mexican desert to build a house for a family living three generations crowded into a two room home. IMG 6454 In one week, through hard work, tireless prayer and Gods grace, four walls and a roof went up within three days to house a family. Mex 20Trip007 Many back in Pennsylvania prayed hard everyday for Gods work to be done through this team--and they reaped the blessing!

Shepherds Heart: A team from St. Thomas feeds and worships with this congregation, made up of mostly homeless men and women living in Oakland, at least four times a year. It only takes a few hours but to see and be part of Gods compassion and grace working even in the broken lives of those left at the bottom of our society is a blessing and an opportunity to serve Jesus in a local community. St. Thomas' dates for providing supper to the guests at Shepherd's Heart in 2006 are: May 28, July 30, October 1, and December 3. Anyone can help--just show up at St. Thomas at 4pm and caravan down to Oakland with us!
